Catherine Johnson

As chief people officer, Catherine (CJ) Johnson is responsible for the strategy and results for human resources, learning and organizational development, and DEI engagement programs. She brings more than 30 years of human resources and strategic planning expertise to Travis Credit Union, including organization design and development, performance management, talent management, strategic business and HR planning. Previously, CJ was the vice president of human resources at the Center for Elders’ Independence in Oakland, California, a nonprofit providing integrated health care services to the frail and elderly.

CJ earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Southern Maine. She is a board member of the DayBreak Adult Care Centers and a committee member of both the Solano County Behavioral Health Diversity and Equity committee and the Vallejo Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee.
