Tina Gupta
Tina Gupta recently joined New York Life as a senior vice president in the human resources department with responsibility for overseeing talent acquisition, talent management practices, learning and development, and leadership and executive development teams. Under Tina’s leadership, these teams have been united to best position New York Life as an employer of choice and maintain a forward-looking focus on the internal and external dynamics shaping its ability to attract, develop and retain talent.
Prior to joining New York Life, Ms. Gupta served as the head of talent development and employee experience at WarnerMedia. In this role, she led the enterprise talent centers of excellence including talent and performance management, learning and development, employee experience and change management. She was also responsible for leading the talent and culture workstream during WarnerMedia’s merger with Discovery. Ms. Gupta was selected to lead the talent function at WarnerMedia while serving as head of talent management, engagement and performance at Xandr, which was merged into WarnerMedia by parent company AT&T.
Ms. Gupta has spent the past 10 years of her career as a deep specialist in the talent management space, while her background in broader talent and HR-related roles spans more than 20 years, working across London and New York City. Ms. Gupta brings extensive experience working at global, complex and high-growth organizations, with particular expertise in leading talent practices for companies going through a transformation. She has worked for a range of financial, public sector and corporate firms, including Thomson Reuters, BDO Stoy Hayward LLP, Grant Thornton LLP and Transport for London.
Ms. Gupta earned a B.Sc. in Psychology from Aston University (UK) and an M.Sc. in Work and Organizational Psychology from Nottingham University (UK).
