Kara Dogali
Kara Dogali is a global talent management leader who drives the learning and development initiatives across Belimo worldwide. Kara’s passion is employee development, and over the past 15 years, she has focused on impacting the careers and personal development achievements of others. Kara specializes in leadership development, performance management, talent reviews and succession planning, skill development, global learning initiatives and is a Belimo culture ambassador. She sits on Belimo's Global Management Council as well as the global human resources leadership team. Kara partners with executives and leaders around the world to create programs to upskill and retain talent.
Kara was previously with global consulting firm ISG for 10 years, where she was a 2019 ISG Chairman’s Club winner for her achievements in talent. She created a world-class global mentoring program, a digital certification program, was instrumental in the development and leadership of a digital leadership council and transformed internal learning initiatives through modern course offerings. Kara is an end-to-end talent leader who can think strategically, develop and execute on learning initiatives. She is a proven instructional designer who applies adult learning theory to every project and program, helping to grow talent. Kara brought experience in project management, learning management system (LMS) implementation, content development and online training to ISG employees globally every day. In 2018, Kara assumed HR generalist responsibilities for our corporate functions.
Prior to joining ISG in April 2012, Kara served roles of increasing responsibility at Terex Corp. in global learning and development. In this role, she was accountable for the company’s learning management system, ethics and compliance strategy and training, and development initiatives across all levels of employees. In addition to her training responsibilities, Kara was a key member of the company’s performance management, onboarding and diversity teams.
Kara holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University and a master's in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of New Haven. Kara is also the president for the Association of Talent Development: Southern Connecticut Chapter.
