Eva Lenhart
Eva Lenhart has enjoyed a career at Merck since 1999 in a variety of roles with increasing responsibility spanning across divisions and organizations, including sales and sales leadership, marketing, communications, strategy realization and as the first Scrum Master to establish agile practices within the U.S. market focused on digital engagement with external customers. She has been a member of Global Learning & Development since 2019 as a customer facing leader and learning architect lead. In her current role, she is responsible for leading a global team of learning consultants aligned to top organizational and strategic priorities that cut across the enterprise.
In Eva’s recent tenure within Merck’s learning organization, she has served as an innovator by introducing agile principles to GL&D aligned to Merck’s learning model evolution. Current initiatives include redefining leadership learning needs and experience, enterprise-wide digital transformation, transferable skills (career accelerators) and mandatory training. This experience has formed a basis for an advanced approach for gamification, strategic technology enablement of a learning experience and rapid scaling for a global audience of 70,000 employees.
Eva has an undergraduate and graduate degree in nursing, has received an executive MBA in digital marketing and is certified as a Scrum Master and Project Owner. She enjoys networking and learning with fellow learning leaders and is actively involved in mentoring and volunteering both within and outside of her professional work.
